Palm cooling
Heat cuts your output before you feel it.
KYLA is a pair of handles that take heat out through your palms, in the rests you already take.
The heat comes from the work, not from the room. The room only decides how easily you lose it.
*Hot cyclists used 54% of their thigh muscle, against 82% when cool (Nybo & Nielsen, 2001, 14 men). Output dropped before the effort felt harder (Tucker et al., 2004, 10 men). Not studies of KYLA. Published research →
Your palms are where your body is built to let heat out. KYLA gives that heat somewhere to go, so you finish the session you planned instead of the one heat allows.

Sprint power lost by the second half, cooling in the rests
All three studied palm cooling, not KYLA. An independent study of KYLA starts in January 2027.

HYROX
"Using KYLA, I've noticed several significant positive changes in my training. Better repeatability between intervals, more stable output, and faster recovery between hard efforts."
Pelayo Menendez Fernandez
Elite 15 Athlete and Performance Coach
Running
"I ran quicker than usual with measurably lower lactate. Heart rate was the same. The feeling was different, like the same work cost less. I do this session three times a week, so I trust the comparison."
Jeppe Risvig
1500m in 3:41 & 10k in 29:30
HYROX
"I use KYLA between sets to accelerate recovery and keep my output high throughout the session"
Kenny Steger
Swedish Record Holder in HYROX Pro Single & Pro Double.
When you use it

Every rest: one in each palm, 60 to 90 seconds. Then go again. Chill it in the fridge overnight before you train. One chill covers a full session: 30 to 35 minutes in your hand, not on the clock, about 90 to 105 minutes of training.
WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS
Inside each handle, a patent-pending internal system spreads your palm’s heat across the whole core, so more of it keeps leaving, every rest.
How heat transfer works →THE SCIENCE
Your palms are hairless skin with a special kind of blood vessel: heat vessels (AVA*), direct shortcuts between artery and vein. They feed no tissue. They move heat. They open when you heat up and let the heat out. That pathway is what KYLA is engineered around. We did not invent it.
*Arteriovenous anastomoses. How they work: Walløe, 2015. Temperature.
The studies are small and the results vary. Some found no effect at all. Those are in Published research too, with the numbers, because you should see them before you decide.

A cold object meets your palm only where you touch it, and that thin layer warms in seconds, so the cold behind it never reaches you. KYLA spreads the same heat across ten times more cold surface than your palm touches, so it keeps leaving instead of stalling. Temperature matters too, which is why the surface sits around 14 °C, the zone where the vessels in your palm stay open. But the goal is not maximum cold. It is maximum heat transfer.
Both, and they are harder to separate than they feel. Long before you notice temperature, your body sends blood to the skin to shed heat, and that is capacity no longer going to the working muscle. What you feel is fatigue. Part of what caused it is thermal. Nobody walks out of a session thinking the room was warm. They think they slept badly.
If it does not, keep reading.
The sport does not decide it. The shape of the session does. If you work hard, stop, and work hard again, there is heat to move and a rest to move it in.
If your session runs without a break, there is less for it to do while you train. Two things still work. Hold it before you start, so you begin cooler. Hold it in any break you do get, however few there are. If you never have a hand free during a session, this is not for you, and we would rather say that than sell you a pair.
The 90 days start when it arrives, not when you order. Use it in real sessions, between your hardest efforts. If it does not hold your output, email us and we refund you in full, deposit included.
